The location was convenient for visiting South Dakota State University and we really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere from the morning desk clerk. The room was adequate for our large family, providing enough space to settle in after a long drive.
For dads, it would be great to have better security features. The doors didn't feel very safe, and I was a bit worried about leaving my kids unguarded in the hallways. Improving exterior lighting and door locks would really help families.

I had a lovely stay for 6 nights where the poolside vibes really made my morning coffee special alongside the clean, comfy rooms. The relaxing pool and jacuzzi were perfect for unwinding after a long day. However, the furniture could use some updating, but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment at all! 😊

I loved the friendly service and the breakfast hustle was real—two hours early for families! Plus, I scored a clean and comfy Poolside Queen Room that set the stage for a chill stay. Don't sleep on the local eateries nearby, especially Taco Express and Choco Latte, for quick bites that hit the spot.
But let's be real, the overall vibe felt stuck in a time warp with smelly rooms and a few too many flies buzzing around. The side entrance need security. anyone could waltz in!

It was a fitting option for a short stay in Brookings and offered decent value for money. The TV worked fine even though it was an old tube model. Consider staying on a higher floor to avoid noise from the pool area.

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Amenities!
Our family had a pleasant night here, enjoying the quiet atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, though I recommend asking for an extra blanket for added warmth. We appreciated the nearby dining options, which provided quick and tasty meals after our long drive. Don't hesitate to explore local eateries!
